Let readiness, moderation, and settings happen in sequence.
Capture mode separates target choice from session readiness, then records moderation status and capture provenance before anything becomes part of the private archive.

Capture records use approximate location unless precise location is explicitly enabled.

Provenance is created at capture time and validated against the capture identifier.
